We’re Hiring: Join the Kofago School of Dance and Culture Team!
The Kofago Institute is growing! We’re looking for passionate educators, artists, and organizers to join the Kofago School of Dance and Culture (KSDC) as we launch new afterschool programming in St. Albans, Queens, in February 2027.
KSDC brings African Diaspora dance and culture to middle and high school students. Every class runs to live drumming and connects movement to history, community, and cultural meaning. Students grow as dancers, scholars, and leaders.
We’re hiring for five part-time positions:
- Program Director
- Data Specialist / Data Visualization
- Academic Enrichment Coach (Support)
- Dance Education Specialist (Educator)
- Accompanist (Musician)
If you love working with young people and believe in the power of culture and the arts, we’d love to hear from you.
